The Church of OUR LADY of the MULLEIN
This place of worship was built at the beginning of this century on the remains of what had been the old chapel. The original statue of "Our Lady of the Mullein", which dates from the 16th century and was restored a few years ago, is kept in the church along with several other antique works of art.

El Museo de Piedra (THE MUSEUM OF STONE)
Despite its name, probably due to the collection of stones on show at the entrance, the museum is, in fact, dedicated to traditional Canarian craftsmanship. Pottery, articles made from wool and other handmade objects traditional to the island can all be admired and purchased here. However, the greatest attraction is undoubtedly the world famous Canarian openwork, a handicraft skill which has been kept alive for centuries and which is here on show to the public.
EL SEQUERO DISTRICT
This area, consisting of houses dating for the most part from the 15th century, is well worth a visit.
La Fiesta of "the descent of the Billy-goat "
A curious popular fiesta which takes place on the second Saturday of October each year. The best male of a herd of goats is chosen and taken around the whole village amidst congenial ritual and much food and drink.
